Altitude traininig - 22.12.2009

My Olympic preparation is now in full swing. Instead of taking part in the third World Cup in Pokljuka, I headed for the mountains in Italy to begin a hard training cycle which I will use as a base for the January World Cups and my Olympic peak. For this camp I was in Ridnaun, Italy where conditions were perfect for the entire week. Every day was sunny, cold, with lots of hours on the skis and with the rifle. My personal trainer Steffen Danneberg, was also there to help me with the training, which was a big help. Now I am scrambling around to get Christmas presents since I have been focused on my training so long. As you can imagine, all I have on my Christmas list is gold.
