The first World Cup was a solid start to the season, and it gives me confidence that I am on track for a strong Olympics. I was not satisfied with the sprint competition, but I think I was still a bit tired from the Individual. Today's relay was a strong race for me and the team. A seventh place finish, and a 7th place in the Nations Cup ranking shows our team is here to compete with the best in the World.
Next stop is Hochfilzen, Austria, where I am hoping to keep improving my shape, and collect some World Cup points. P.S. The picture is of a cut in my eye which I got competing in the relay. The ski pole from Andi Birnbacher from Germany came up high and I ran into it. <- back |
