My training camp with the US National Team just ended this weekend. It was a really good week of training, especially focusing on testing skis for the coming season in the Ski Hall. I was really pleased with the new Rossignol skis for this season. The US Biathlon Team has been working very hard together with Rossignol Biathlon Manager Pierre Heinrich, to develop an ideal ski for us for the Olympics in Vancouver, and I am really impressed with the work Rossi has done. We did not just test skis, though, every day we skied a few hours in the hall, and of course there was a lot of traditional training as well so everyone was pretty worn out in the last days, which meant it was a productive camp.
During the camp I was without e-mail and when I finally did check mail, I saw there have been quite a few orders for my Biathlon Fanpack. For those that have not heard about it, the Fanpack is a collection of items from biathlon friendly companies, such as a shoe bag, a ski hat or t-shirt, a Jay-Team pin, autograph marker and book, food, and more. It is a limited edition of only 100 Fanpacks, so order quickly. Thank you to everyone that has purchased on so far, it is really motivating to have the support.
