Final Preparation - 17.11.2007

The 2007/2008 Biathlon World Cup season has basically begun, or so it feels after the past couple of weeks of skiing and time trials. However, there is still a little bit of fine tuning to do before the World Cups begin which will begin in Kontiolahti, Finland in two weeks.
At the moment I am with the US Biathlon National Team in Sweden, where we are enjoying simple Swedish hard training including a high volume of on snow distance, strength, and testing, and preparation of the race skis. It is the last chance to adjust for the season, but I feel on track and ready to start racing. This is an important season for me, and I am looking forward to it with confidence and curiosity how it will turn out.
