Manic Depressive Olympics
I have spent the past couple days getting away from my own sport for awhile to watch a bit more of the Olympics. The cross country skiers are our neighboring venue, so I took advantage of that to watch some very exciting races, including some really strong American performances in the team sprint. The real highlight though was I won a lottery ticket for the USA – Canada hockey game. Just waiting to get in the game was a sea of red and white Canadians, and the US was really fighting in the lion’s den, and what a thrill to see them kill that lion with 5-3.
Now I feel fresh and motivated with Olympic spirit and am refocusing on a very important relay for our team to create our own Olympic highlight.
