After a very strong relay in Ruhpolding, Germany I feel back on track for my quest to get an Olympic medal. In that relay I tagged with the podium group, and in the end we finished in sixth place, our best relay this season. Now I am in Antholz, Italy where I am simultaneously racing the final World Cup before the Olympics, and I have begun my altitude preparation for the Olympics. I feel good and confident and hope for the best in tomorrow's individual race. These races are important to gain confidence, and also to get some World Cup points. I am fortunate that I trained here in Antholz during the summer and and winter so I am familiar with the range and course which I hope to use to my advantage. Also, my coach Armin Auchentaler is from here, so he wants to see good results from us, so I do not plan to dissappoint.
Thanks for checking in, Jay. <- back |
